Banos hotel, Hacienda Manteles, tucked away in the high Andes, offers wonderful accommodation in Ecuador with a homely and welcoming atmosphere. Manteles, one of the most beautiful hotel – haciendas in Ecuador, was built in 1948 by Anita Restrepo, the aunt of the present owner and was transformed into a hotel in 1992. Little by little, the property has been remodelled and refurbished to include all the home comforts and services that guests deserve. Located outside the town of Baños and offering stunning views of the active Tungurahua Volcano, this hacienda has become a ‘must see’ during any trip to Ecuador. |
